What is the BioMedic MicroPeel®?
This 15-20 minute office procedure involves a three step application of 1- natural enzymes, 2- alpha-hydroxy acid and 3- cryogenic therapy. Immediately after the procedure, your skin will have improved texture and color. The recommended frequency of the MicroPeel is monthly, but this varies according to your needs. You may use cosmetics immediately after the procedure and there is no "down-time". A more aggressive type of exfoliation technique is the MicroPeel Plus. This procedure involves the application of salicylic acid and does create a more dramatic effect with skin texture and color. This is particularly helpful in reducing acne.
